So today I finally got around to replacing a ton of 128k MP3s I’d ripped in like 2003 (before I knew better) with Apple Lossless files. Imagine my surprise when iTunes asked if I wanted to replace the existing files! All my playlists, play counts, ratings etc. stayed intact. I heart Apple.
