This week's entry comes from Jake E. Lee's post-Ozzy band Badlands.
There's only a handful of the hundreds of records I bought in the late 80's that still standup today, and this is one of them. Badlands had more of a Free/Humble Pie vibe than anyone would've expected with Jake having spent time with Ozzy, and definitely more 'classic rock' than most everything else going on at the time.
Shoutout to my buddy Kenny Crowell who bought this cassette for me at the Bellevue Mall in June 1989 (yes, my memory is that good). I've since owned it on CD, vinyl and now from iTunes.
