I recently made the decision not to renew my Dish Network contract. I was spending $125 a month to watch nowhere near that amount of TV. It just wasn’t worth it.
Between iTunes, Hulu, Netflix and the darkest corners of the internet (let’s just say I won’t be missing the Breaking Bad finale tonight) I’ve got it covered. I fully plan on subscribing to MLB.tv next year to watch my beloved Cubs stumble through another season of misery.
The one thing that’s missing is the NFL. For that I turned to Lex Friedman’s blog post about using alternate DNS settings to get around the NFL Game Pass country restrictions. It’s totally legal and I’ve not missed a Titans game yet.
The 21st century is fucking awesome.
