Earlier today, on my iPad, I Googled high and low for somewhere that had a power strip that was at least 15 feet long in stock in Nashville. No big deal. Now, 8 hours later, I log in to Facebook on my laptop and see this ad:
Wow.
They don't even try to hide just how much they're tracking you anymore. If you think for a second every single thing you do on the internet isn't being watched to target you with more ads you're incredibly naive.
Sometimes I miss the "wild west" internet of 1997.
