These people haven’t suddenly grown a wider appreciation of music. Their tastes haven’t changed. No, it’s that modern country music is nothing more than Warrant or Posion with a (usually fake) southern accent and some steel guitar layered on top. It’s lowest common denominator fluff disguised as “country”.
